Events

1. The DrupalCape group is meeting this Wednesday - 26 October at 18:15 at the Bandwidth Barn (last Wed of the month). Besides Michael presenting the Year in Review, you're encouraged to take the floor to discuss all things related to Drupal.

2. 10 days to go till DrupalCamp Jozi 2011 on Saturday, 5 November. We've got a great lineup of speakers, food and drinks will be provided. Sign Up is free, so come join us in Bryanston and spread the word to others who might be interested.

Site Showcases

It's been a busy month on the drupal.co.za Showcase page. Dent Magic Express, Peter Narun, Caroline's Wine Cellar, Caroline's Wine Warehouse,  Chris Willemse Cycles, Relocation Africa, Rhodes Foodgroup, Velotex, Living Water and Soft Illusion Audio Visual were all posted this month, many of them by 2Stroke Interactive, who also launched their new site - well done guys.

Other News

1. DrupalCon Denver is open for registration. It's happening March 2012 and comprises the North American.

2. If you're into Mobile development, check out the Drupal 8 Mobile Initiative. It's interesting seeing some of the things coming up on the Drupal horizon.

Cool module for the month.

The Context module is one of the powerful modules every Drupal developer should know about. It facilitates dividing your site into various sections that have certain behaviours. Read more on their project page.
