June's SA Drupal news:

Events

1. The Cape Town meetup will be on the 29th of June, keep an eye out on the g.d.o. page for the agenda and further details.

2. The next Joburg meetup is being held on the 6th of July. The theme for this months meetup is Performance, including a talk on Aegir and a showcase of the Thrifty Direct site.

Site Showcases

Four new sites were posted to the Showcase page this month. Check out these sites built with Drupal: Tall Trees Training, Three Cities Group, Chefs Training and Innovation Academy and Coffeehouse Media

Other News

1. Keep your calendar clear in September as it will be a busy Drupal month. The Joburg group has tentatively scheduled it's annual DrupalCamp for 17 September 2011.

2. Cape Town is also planning a launch party for DrupalCape in September. Will post more details as they come in.

3. DrupalCon London is set for 22 - 24 August. It promises to be a great event, with something for everyone - check out the schedule to see what's happening.

4. If you're running Drupal 7, version 7.2 was released last month, so upgrade now if you haven't already.
